Montecristo Regata Review:

With a dark layer, the Regatta is revealed in the first full puffs of nature as a pure way to produce full and intense sensations on the palate. It is somewhat more argumentative than the Master but without losing the complexity of the particular selection of pages of his league.

Review #19: OCT 18 Montecristo Regata is a very nice cigar. It is easy to smoke, not too strong and very balancI,very nice construction with long leaves . Goes with a cup of coffee . - Submitted by Sarakbi on September 16, 2020

Review #18: Not worth the time and or the money - Submitted by admin on May 9, 2020

Review #17: Cigar was aged one year in my humidor, I don't know vintage it was bought as a single. Medium - Full body cigar, very nice balanced, long finish, with some young tannins on the tongh but nothing over whelming, which means cigar is meant to be aged. Not alot of spices, nice amount of earthiness, wood, some nutts, mild coffee, but nicely balanced nothing is jumping out. Will give you dry feeling in the mouth, so have some drink, coffee with milk, glass of Chardonnay ( not oaky) or Old fashioned cocktail. Draw and burn-great. After some time enjoying, cigar will progress with some dark flavors- cocoa, dark chocolate. Long finish will be there and tannins. Over all it's a great cigar with again potential. - Submitted by Sommelier on March 19, 2020

Review #16: This cigar was sooo bad, it had to be one of the sickest cigars I've ever smoked. It was resting in my humidor for ~3-4 months before I lit it up, but I can confidently say I will never smoke another one from the Open Regata series, yuck. 1 out of 10. - Submitted by smitte3 on February 25, 2020

Review #15: ---   FEB 17 box. Very light wrapper, good construction and with the open draw already mentioned by previous reviewers. Good cigar, mild taste with a profile that to me appeared closer to Hoyo de Monterrey than Montecristo (wood, honey and sweet spices). A bit heady towards the end. Excellent size. - Submitted by titobueno76 on August 25, 2018
