Por Larranaga Montecarlos Review:

This was a famous, mild and pleasant cigar, but discontinued in the year 2001.

Review #48: MAR 23 As others have said, this is an excellent cigar for the price. They are on the light side, but very flavorful, a good luxurious smoke. I have a feeling aging will enhance the flavor. I'll agree with review 47 re: comparing this cigar to a robusto. I like different styles and sizes of cigars for different occasions and this one fits in the lineup nicely. - Submitted by aescobar on March 10, 2024

Review #47: MAR 23 I agree with reviewer 46 that these are tremendous value, especially now with the crazy prices on cigars. Mine are very young but delicious. Sweet, honeyed, caramelised aromas and a nice transition, from a delicate and aromatic start to a strong and powerful finish. You do not have the abundance of flavours as a robusto would give, but if you smoke these slowly you are very well rewarded. Typical cuban flavours, very good. - Submitted by titobueno76 on June 27, 2023

Review #46: FEB 18 By far, taking price, quality and all else into consideration, these are my favorite cigars. Just smoked a 5 year old gem and can't stop smiling. 1 hr 20 mins of total joy. Started out with butterscotch, nougat, and cream and just gently powered into caramel and more cream. Spicy coffee and straight tobacco bliss at the end. Draw and aroma were just perfect. I can't believe how good these cigars are. Age them if you can. I will not smoke any more until I get my hands on a few more boxes. 91/92 all day long. These remind me of the old mid 90's Cohiba Lanceros, just not with the creamy fresh grass aroma of the old line Cohibas. I would change nothing about these gems. - Submitted by owensinco on February 8, 2023

Review #45: I just can't stop smoking my LGR OCT 19 box, I have already purchased my second. These are simply outstanding. - Submitted by nikolaros on November 6, 2021

Review #44: OCT 19 LGR OCT 19, after 2 trials I bought the whole box. Interesting and beautiful panetela. Excellent draw and burn, cedar, deep coffee, very soft pepper and sometimes nuts, leather and roasted tobacco, with a very delicate sweetness in the background. Beautiful room aroma. Medium-full strength. Most people are saying these are ageing well. Difficult to let them rest, they are delicious. - Submitted by nikolaros on October 22, 2021
