Review #67:

Smoked the Principe on three different occasions. The first two times it was a standout, and even a bit on the strong side, with lots of cuban twang. The one I smoked last week was very mild with an extremely loose draw. Nothing interesting at all. Normally this is a good cigar. But even the good ones I guess fall victim to a bad roll with "blah" tobacco inside. - Submitted by Jimbo on August 21, 2007

I just received a box of OEB FEB 07. A medium strength cigar; very smooth and creamy with no spiciness. Certainly a very refined cigar throughout; and it may taste even better with some age. Of course, it lacks complexity when compared to thicker gauge cigars but is a very decent smoke nevertheless. Review #63:

Just opened another box of these dated Feb 07 and they are wonderful. The most consistantly enjoyable cigar I have ever smoked by a long chalk. Each one is different to the last, keeping one guessing as to the overall theme expressed in each cigar. Wood, fruit, spices, leather and even one that had a deep Bolivar flavour. They are great from the box, but beware of the solid ones. Leave those to age for 6 months plus and you'll have no problems with the draw. My only critisism is that they are always a few in each box shaped a bit weird and that the wrapper colours differ dramatically between boxes. Try them with a straight rye for the optimum taste experience...... - Submitted by XBO on July 22, 2007
