Review #25: Bought three cigars and all were totally plugged. - Submitted by promajk on December 30, 2008

Review #24: Bought three cigars and all were plugged,no smoke at all. - Submitted by promajk on December 30, 2008

Review #23: APR 06 Smoked two from a 04/06 box. Incredibly bland- one dimensional and dry. No aroma, no taste other than harsh tobacco. Thank goodness the merchant refunded my money. This cigar was a major disappointment. - Submitted by neuticles on October 21, 2008

Review #22: APR 05 I think we owe Monte N°1 some justice. The past weeks, I've been alternating between Partagas Astorias, Aristocrats and R&J Cazadores. And I must confess I prefer the Montecristo. Good construstion,Perfect burn, very floral wih earthy hints of nuts and creamy cocoa. 7O mn of pure pleasure with a glass of Havana club seven! - Submitted by Amadou on September 30, 2008

Review #21: I found the #1 a very disappointing cigar. The worst of the Montecristo line. I'd smoke any other Monte before I'd go to the #1. In fact, there are many other Cubans I'd go to before attempting a #1 again. The #1 has nothing to say. NOTHING. The draw was tight and the burn was disappointing. The flavours were not classic Cuban either. Anyone starting with Montecristo should try the #2, #4, and #5 for better examples of Monte, and Cubans, before the #2. I have a hard time saying anything good about this cigar. There are too many other good Cubans to smoke before smoking the #1. It's very average cigar, if not below average. - Submitted by cookj1 on August 29, 2008
