Montecristo Montecristo No. 4 Reserva Review:

The Reserva de Montecristo was officially presented during the closing ceremony of the IX Festival del Habano. It is manufactured with tobacco leaves specially selected and carefully aged during three years. Only 5000 numbered boxes have been made.

Review #12: ---   Great flavor,great aroma, classical monte flavor but more smooth, more balanced.Smoked it in 20 minutes lasted like 2 cigarettes, 30% better than a normal monte 4, 300% more expensive. In my opinion not worth 25 Euros for a 20 min smoke. Same tobacco on a churchill I would have paid even double. Here you pay the extra band. - Submitted by danex on December 5, 2010


Review #11: ---   Από το άρωμα και μόνο καταλαβαίνεις ότι στα χέρια σου δεν βρίσκεται ένα απλό m4, αλλά κάτι άλλο, μεγάλο και εντελώς διαφορετικό. Τα καπνά είναι του 2004 τουλάχιστον, η κατασκευή προσεγμένη, το τύλιγμα μαστορικό. Η habanos διάλεξε το best seller της να είναι η δεύτερη reserva, μετά το απόλυτο psdn4 και πριν το αναγεννησιακό csvi (gran reserva). Είναι ένα καταπληκτικό πούρο, η πιο super mareva όλων των εποχών, και φυσικά ουδεμία, μα καμία, σχέση έχει με το regular αδέλφι του, που πουλιέται σαν ψωμί στους φούρνους όλου του κόσμου. Ένα πλούσιο κρεμμώδες πούρο, ίσως το καλύτερο μικρό που κάπνισα ποτέ. Αλήθεια έπαθα πλάκα, τόσο καλό είναι. Σημειώστε ότι το καπνίζω με συν τρία χρόνια παλαίωση, αφού είναι κυκλοφορία του 2007. Ο χαρακτήρας monte είναι παρών, αλλά εκφράζεται με pot-pourri, σαν best of και greatest hits να πούμε, των κατά καιρούς κορυφών της brand. Κυρίες και κύριοι, το καλύτερο montecristo, πάνω και από τα sublimes και τα robustos millennium, που φτιάχτηκε ποτέ. Απλά τέλειο. - Submitted by cipu on February 25, 2010


Review #10: ---   Smooth wrapper and dense. The burn was slow and even. Typical Montecristo flavours with tanginess and smooth creamy texture. I noticed more spice on the nose than the usual No. 4s. What was most apparent is the nicotine kick! Not sure if it is just my stick. 5 more to go but I will horde these for a while.
