Review #35: This is truly a everyday cigar that you can enjoy. I was very pleased with the flavors, it has a relaxing effect while you enjoy it.It is now my cigar of chose. - Submitted by Lawrence L on September 23, 2004

Review #34: Best mareva around. I keep trying others but the Montecristo is like the "Terminator" to me...."I'll be back". Wonderful aroma and compexity right to the very end. Smoke with a good dessert wine for a smooth 45 minutes of bliss. - Submitted by Don from Oz on September 16, 2004

Review #33: Just bought 5 of these from an '02 box. My first Cuban smoke. There is a distinct difference in flavor from what I am normally used too(Dominican). A much more mellow smoke, no bite at all. Creamy tabacco flavor consistent throughout with some earth undertones. Cigar wrapped tight good draw even burn. Only negative thing... it didn't last. - Submitted by Jay D on September 14, 2004

Review #32: A good, consistent mareva with mid flavour although its taste can bore after repeated smoking - not high on complexity and perhaps a little overhyped. However for what it is, this cigar is benchmark stuff and an excellent introduction to the world of cuban cigars. - Submitted by Dawg on August 17, 2004

Review #31: Certainly overhyped, but not without its qualities either. The main problem appears to be a lack of consistency, especially in packs of 5. Poor sticks (too many of these) can be flat, loose and tarry. Good sticks have a rounded creaminess and rich flavours. Choose a good box and avoid tarriness by smoking slowly, and you'll enjoy this otherwise overrated cigar. - Submitted by The Privateer on August 15, 2004
